During the kick-off meeting the participants started a debate about the importance in each partner Country of the Wooden Religious Historical Architecture, its significance by several points of view – religious, social, historical, technical, aesthetical etc. - and assess a possible area of common interest. They settled the consistency and the present conditions of the Patrimony, envisaged the possible strategies to be made, first of all a data base, for the study and protection of this part of the Heritage; besides, they fixed the criteria for the selection of historical goods, the duties and rules of activity of the Group.
- Settlement of criteria of selection of the churches to be studied. The Partners chosed the common rules that the searcher have used during their job. In particular the partnership fixed some homogeneous methods for the type of monument, the estate of conservation, and the characteristics of the place where the monument is situated.
