Born in Cracow in 1961. In 1981 graduated from the State College of Fine Arts in Cracow. Master of Architecture from the Faculty of Architecture at Cracow University of Technology, 1987. One-year postgraduate studies in the Chair of Computer-Aided Architectural Design, ETH-Zurich, 1993/94.
Professional design license, 1993. Doctoral degree, 1999. Since 1988 - teaches fine arts at the Chair of Drawing, Painting and Sculpture at the Faculty of Architecture, CUT. Since 1997 - teaches architectural design at the Institute of History of Architecture and Monument Preservation. Research on use of digital techniques in conservation of historic buildings. Since 1990 running his own design studio. Author of numerous architectural as well as conservation projects.
